Scarlet Wrasse (female)

Whangarei Harbour Marine Reserve - Motukaroro. The constant supply of nutrients on strong tidal currents make this reserve an ideal habitat for many filter feeding species. It is also home to around 50 different species of reef fish including Scarlet Wrasse.
