Galapagos sharks

Galapagos sharks
Image by Samara Nicholas, published on 18/10/2012

Top predators of the Kermadec Islands. Seen on almost every snorkel. The galapagos sharks did not express any aggressive behaviour towards us, however if required, we were prepared to quickly abort.
Seen around Raoul with the Experiencing Marine Reserves snorkelling, part of the Young Blake expedition to the Kermadecs 2012.
